I'm sorry blips but i can't help but notice that jingren is really passive... You made it look like lily is the one dealing with the zhou family and just informing him about the things she do.. She even doesn't take his opinions and always do what she wants.. Relationships is not like this... And yeah the whole adoption thing is foolishly foolish of her and jingren who i really think he has no personality by now just accepted after she asked if he trusts her..... This part of the story was supposed to be about him dealing with his past just like lily did but it is again lily doing things while he appears in home scenes cooking or in bed.. Again sorry i just wanted to say it to you.. I hope you don't get mad 😔😔

At the end of the day, Old Man Zhou is the biggest fool. His son has been manipulating him also ever since. Zhou Kang makes sure that whatever he plans, his father will always have a benefit in order to gain his approval. However, a part of me is hoping that he doesn't fully trust this lunatic Zhou Kang or else he will lose Zhou Jintao and his family. @Blips...prioritize the most important thing, we understand. We can always wait for your novel.🙂
Where is Zhuo Jingren? He seems to be only a shadow of himself after marrying Lily....Author, aren't they suppose to be in tandem? Being a husband, he should be more aggresive and the protector of Lily, he should always be at the forefront and not relegated at the back...It seemed that Lily only has the brain & the sole decision maker while Jingren is only a follower, even powerless to counter Lily's decision. I don't like Lily's attitude anymore, she always got the upperhand knowing that Jingren love her so much. I guess their marriage won't go well, for me marriage is a union of two souls & therefore both husband & wife should have an equal footing in everything.
Is it too cliché to say that I knew it was just a setup? And I'd been thinking this for a while, but I'm starting to like Lily less and less. Lately, she's been turning into the same type of hypocritical and overconfident villain her enemies are just a little more with each new action. Even though I'm rooting for her & Jingren to come out as the winners in the end, as of late, I'm finding myself wishing for her to fall flat on her face just a little. Please, don't misunderstand me; I still like the story, it's just hard to give her the same amount of support as in the beginning. Keep up the good work Blips! :)
This is a heck of a chess game and I'm sure that Lily is aware of this. But she will turn the tables on those mad people who are actually good experienced players. As for ZJingren being passive, he may not be but its being done at a much deeper level. Blips, you have a life - we as readers who also have lives need to respect and be considerate of that. Prioritise what's important - you, your family, your life and we are maybe in 5th/6th spot of the priority list. Take care of yourself first, have no problem waiting. As long as your story is good, as readers we will keep it in our libraries.
