Fun But Slightly Disturbing Fact: actually many civillizations had some form of cannibalistic ceremonies in the past, though most of them merly required to drink some blood of the shaman/priest holding the ceremony. there were even many warriors who ate the hearts of the defeated(regardless if human or animal) believing it will enhance their power(though only for though battles where they almost died - only when the enemy is stronger then they are) In fact there were even many old medicine requiering fresh blood of specific people like blood from the thumb of a 5 y.o boy or the heart blood of an infant, basically all evil cultivation techniques we see in wuxias have roots in reality. if i remember correctly there was even a queen around 3-4 thousand years ago that believed drinking the blood of virgins will keep her beauty untill death..... Not really cannibalism but there was a beliefe in the old world armies that drinking the s*m*n of strong warriors will make you stronger...
