Fun Fact Corner - and this time i will tapk about the concept of over-technology This refers to instances of people creating technology/blueprints that were so advanced at the time that they were either impossible to create with the science and technology of the era or could be created but were missunderstood as magic or a farce. the most known examples were created by Leonardo De-Vinci where he created blueprints of war weapons that were so advanced at the time nobody believed they were effective and could be created. in fact the modern helicopter is based on the flying machine concept he created - he created the science behind how helicopters fly and move hundreds of years ago! Another example is Tesla who created many blueprints tens of years before technology was advanced enough to create them. one particular example i know of - which i cant remember the source - talks about a person who created a device which resembles a phone in the early 19th century, this device needed to be placed on the ground(with spikes penetrating it) and could wirelessly transmit sound to its counterpart regardless of distance. at the time the american army heard about it and came to test it - according to the creator as long at its stabbed on a surface connected to the earth - even on a floating ship’s deck, it will be able to instantly transmit the voice regardless of the distance. the army did a test and put one on a ship and one inland but for some reason they declared the device as a hoax and abandoned it. up to now it appears that the device might really be a hoax but a few years later the army returnd to demand the device and the blueprint to be handed to them, but they only found the inventors son who told them his father was so depressed they thought his device is a hoax he burned all blueprints and existing devices and then commited suicide - now the story sounds a little more juicy and substential. if it was a hoax why would the army return to demand the device? Another extremely well known example is found in the books of Jules Verne where he described extremely accuratly a space rocket and a submarine almost a hundred years before they were even possible to be created. There are many other instances of people advancing technology/science a few years or decades but most of those couldnt be described as over-technology since very quickly it was possible to utilize those breakthroughs in variouse fields. Till next time cya
