Sorry for no fact yesterday, was busy in COD Warzone Zombie Royal all night long Fun fact: lightning is an extremly potent energy streaming from the sky, yet how is it that people can survive direct hits? In fact direct lightning hits are less dangerous then indirect ones(relativly). in direct stikes most of the time, more then 99% of the strike “jumps” from the top of the head to the ground meaning very little of it actually couses through the person and out of what does actually hit you much of it just “glides” along the skin to the ground. as long as you don’t wear metal or rubber on you you will have 90% chance to survive. metal is self explenatory while rubber(e.g. rubber shoes) can explode. In indirect strikes it depends on the distance but because the electricity travels through the ground it slows down a bit giving it more time to affect the body than direct strikes and “disabling” the “jumping” which causes 99% of the lighning to ignore the body, thus giving more electricity and more contact time increasing the mortality rate up to 25-30%. P.S. my real name literally means lightning so i decided tomorrow will also be a lightning fact
