Daily fact of the day: Using your laptop to buy another laptop is like asking it to dig it's own grave.
OK, this is the chapter that introduced the things that really irritated me in the story. Learning how to read and write a language using a written notebook that you can't understand, without the help of the person who wrote it. It fixes Shiro's one major weakness literally overnight, while at the same time completely dumping on Lyrica for all the effort she put into helping. It even was presented as a real talent that Lyrica had, but then pushed it aside as irrelevant because the MC is Just That Awesome. The second problem is a two-part irritation that continues to make itself worse through the story. First, that it completely removes the only real weakness that Shiro has just 9 chapters into the story, leaving the character as a Mary Sue. Second, that she is apparently so preturnaturally competent with using her phone to 'speak' that even the idea that she's typing instead of speaking is a joke. Seriously, she at one point is somehow fighting, and holding her phone and typing away with full conversational skills while one arm utterly broken and useless. So she's holding the tablet, typing, and punching, all at the same time with just one hand. She also types answers that would be _easier_ to convey *without* speaking. It's just laughably bad handling of communication issues. I can't even treat her as mute anymore. On the other hand, this chapter also gives Lyrica her weapon specialty, which I would enjoy more if we got to see more of Lyrica. Shiro's battles are a foregone conclusion, but so much time is spent on them. Lyrica's struggles are more interesting.
