Ilya Ivanova? =D So is it a guy or a gal? If it's a gal, don't call her Ilya. If it's a dood, his surname should be Ivanov. Postfix -a in regards to surnames is an exclusively female family name alteration.

A bunch of exposition. Shops, world history, factions. Even if the factions aren't well-paced (the idea is fine, but the details are useless at this point in the story, so there's no value in providing exposition on them right now), the rest is reasonable to summarize. Uses generic, "I hate all heroes because one hero hurt me" character issue. A bit cheap and non-nuanced. Also doesn't matter for dozens of chapters, and doesn't add anything on top of what was learned in the first chapter. Has a tendency to misspell "peek" as "peak".

New York ? so THAT's why the currency is USD. I'm surprised something as large as the USA would survive the Great Metamorphosis as a single entity tho.
