Winter Has Ended

As the petals of snow fall,

The wind danced with it

And the imprecations of winter started.

As the once abundant leaves filled the place

Now the trees stood bare as a newborn baby

The winter is cold as unmelted eyes gazes.

Slowly the bitter cold envelopes the body

It is bitter as the sweet and sour smell of lemons

That aches your whole being as you watch.

The petals of snow falls,

It is melted by the sweet warm smile

Of the Sun that signifies life.

Could it be the winter has ended?

But the petals of snow falls,

Was it not snow that falls but...?

Tears fell as the petals of snow fall

The warm gentle Sun melted the snow

And spring has begun.
