His reason for not liking garp is idiotic and pathetic Garp did that to make luffy stronger and there is no way in hell that he didn't watch over him while hidden or had someone do it He won't watch his grandson die Even when he was torn between duty , honnor and familly when ace died he was still going to avenge him and was aiming for aikinu's life The dude almost lost reason and if sengoku didn't stop him , aikinu would have been history ( as stated by oda , garp was thedtrongest person in that war ) So as i was saying , he never left luffy to die or something like that

Imature ? The dude is a marin hero ! He has duties and principles Ace ran away and became a pirat aka a criminal You think he's going to say **** da police and go straight to the underground ? He allowed him to be excecuted because it's the right thing to do as a marin , he can't just play favorits especially in his position But afterward he almost lost his reason You can't really say he wasn't going to do anything just because he told sengoku to stop him In my view he was going to do something , that is why he told sengoku to stop him
