Why does her sister seem like a snake already? đ I mean her protagonist halo puts me off for some reason. It feels uncomfortable and like a mask. Another point: Her sister knew it was her fiancĂŠ so why didnât she put distance between them. She couldnât have fallen in love with him if she saw him like once or twice. This seems fishy.
Hi everyone!! Doing yet another re-read because CC has been so kind as to tell us even more info on her discord server. So I'm off to search for the clues, hints, and foreshadows sprinkled throughout. SPOILERS AHEAD!! SO BEWARE!! We find out that Rosalia grew up twisted by the people around her. ( Her neglect at the hands of the maids and the servants. Her parentsâ silence and lack of presence in her life.) Her own twin sister was the source of much of her suffering whether Lily knew it or not meaning Lilyanne must have been quite ignorant. One is the âvillainessâ and the other is the âheroineâ. However, thatâs quite a black and white view of the situation. Children arenât born evil or good. Thus such roles seem predetermined. Perhaps a Nature vs Nurture dilemma? More important info! 1. New Year is the holiest day of their part of the world. 2. Lilyanneâs birth was a âprophecyâ come true. (Man, do we have some juicy self-fulfilling prophecy plot point on the horizon?) 3. Lily is described as the dawn, the light, and the future. 4. Rosalia was born 1 minute before New Year. 5. It was considered an ominous omen to be born before the end of the passing year. It means our girls have a very significant birth date. A prophecy is probably hanging above their head. (Nice, they have a âheroâ Grampa too.) and because yin and yang are a thing, Rosalia has a high probability of representing the past, the darkness, and the dusk. Lilyanne and her frail health came first. Lily had a delicate constitution, was pure, gentle, noble, angelic and of course, was good in all the feminine arts + had the power of prophecy. ( Sounds like the protagonist of an Otome Game) Sheâs even clumsy and naive too. Rosalia states she was Lilyâs keeper. (Became her guardian when her parents âdiedâ when they were 10 and her Grampa Ron was too busy running around looking for clues about their âmurderâ.) She also states it was to serve as her foil and contrast meaning Lily was everything Rosalia wasnât and since Rosa is the âvillainessâ, we all know what that implies. Rosa mentions her engagement was more âsacrificingâ her to the country in the north. A country more powerful than Ventrella land. ( Another important plot point.) That as the eldest, it makes sense her engagement was decided first but of course, Lilyanne fell âin loveâ with her sisterâs fiance. ( heroine gets together with the crown prince, anyone?) Rosalia was immensely hurt by her sisterâs actions more than the fact she fell for the prince because we find out later on that Rosalia never liked her fiance. But she ended up dying for it. Rosalia is a reincarnator ( has memories of her 1st life as Rosalia) and a transmigrator ( has memories of another life and came from another world). That's all for the hints here that I picked up. :D
Holy... I'm shaking. That was just.... This chapter should come with a warning or something. I mean, I love it and how beautifully dark it is but it hits my soul a little too hard which should be the warning. The warning is: Beware, fl is a beautifully dark rising pheonix and will hit you hard in the soulđ¤
But, there's also something wrong with her brain. 'My sister saved when we were younger.' But that doesn't mean she should forgive, 'she's so pure and kind, that's why I need her to be that kind of person forever.' Too pure and too kind are so unrealistic. If she's like that, why didn't ask about the MC when the sister played with father and mother?

Dang this is the first time the first chapter of a novel hit me real hard... It was both emotional and wonderful... I ended up rereading the first chapters because well because this novel was too damn good but the author took their sweet sweet time in writing it... please donât be offended I didnât mean it in a bad way.... just that this one is a real good one...
