I mean, it's your story so you plan how events pan out. If people don't like it that's there problem but I find the joy in reading a story is to find out how events play out and witness all the twists and turns, not to read something that ends up exactly how you predicted and wanted. So whatever you end up writing (provided you don't kill of half the characters) I will read and most probably enjoy (as your writing is really good).
