didn't think she would cave in so easily, so something must be fishy. Beside the flaw of this situation is, this who;e thing wouldn't have happened if he didnt try to build his career as an investigator and try to be the empress's disiple. I can't wrap around the idea why nhe would even want that! he has the highest potential in the first place! he can just stay low key and win everything. That said I love the plots in this novel lol.
