The chapter slightly revealed the Mc's unusable mental health condition, internal conflicts are heavily romanticized. Some of his attitudes and actions may be considered immoral, sociopathic tendencies having freaked out over nothing or experience a panic-attack for abusing women, doing drugs, often to the point of over-indulgence. Been "whiny" and "angst," but nonetheless a deeply-flawed individual if not downright reprehensible and sociopathic egotistical, as a reminder that him, no matter how much we are supposed to identify with him, is not a "good guy".
