I'm guessing luck orb is luck towards what She herself as the goddess wants.
Then that means that Aurus' own luck helped him to be able to foil her plans in the future.
But actually she took away the manipulation of his luck in her favour, so he broke out of her control for a moment or two, that's why he gained the "unlucky" skill of illusion resistance (which would better help fighting her) but that's just my speculation
