A personal Dragon Knight? That is really awesome. As an itinerant doer of good deeds and considering his propensity for for getting involved in troublesome matters, having strong companions nearby will be both useful and necessary. He may not exactly be a pawn of the Gods but they or at least the system admin are probably going to continue to guide (gently hint) him in directions where he can fix problems that they don't want to directly interfere with.

There are two ways this could play out. 1: Eisen declines and instead offers to be equals and friends. Or 2: Eisen accepts and outfits his new Knight with the absolute best equipment he could possibly make.

Naa it would be more believable if he denied it. What older person wants people following them around all the time. Everyone he has following him now he either treats as a grandchild, or is trying to teach a lesson. I don’t think it would be in character to accept

So bree's mom is dead I am guessing she died at an adventurer's hands for being a monster. I could see Eisen accepting or declining the knight pledge. The reason why he would decline is that Eisen doesn't see himself as important to need/want a knight always protecting him. Thanks for the chapter.

I am so glad this updates daily. Really waiting for more is hard. Love this author for their regularity and consistency with quality.

I just realized.. Giants are technically Monsters, no? So in a way, Eisen is ALSO a "Half-Monster," so it makes sense how nicely he treats them.
