One of the things that irritate me the most about this novel is her mother. She never asked what really happened between Song Yu and Jian Yi and just brushed it off as her daughter being rejected by that leech, now she wants to pair her off with her friend's son because she's "worried" about her... So controlling, she's overstepping her boundaries. Song Yu is now an *****, let her decide and learn on her own.
Though,,, I don't like the way Qi Chengzhi's answer 'You make me feel sleeping with you' πͺ I mean, how hard it is for him to say, 'Yes, I like you' π I'm not being a hater, but his answer sounded like, he was only after Song Yu's body!!! She supposed to be disappointed or feel upset, but just decided not to, knowing how short tempered he is!! No hard feelings!! I'm just throwing a tantrum! ππ π
Oh, that's precious! Chengzhi is normally so shameless, yet he actually blushed.π€ How adorable!π But still, to explain away his liking her as merely sexual attraction is rather low of him.π But Song Yu's mom is even worse.π Given all the hassle she's throwing up, I can imagine that if Song Yu admitted to her relationship with Chengzhi, she would make things even more difficult and act even crazier.π‘
I feel her exhaustion for real, I mean her composure is outta this world, I swear!!! It being me in her situation, I would've snapped!! So much for the new year's dayππ She had sex for the very first time, which is a huge step in one's life esp for girls. she needed validation that what she did was right and with the right person, coz no matter how much love he showers her, doubts are inevitable, instead, he gave her the not- so- right response at the time she was vulnerable... and now here comes the cuckoo ex-love and the nagging mother.. Give a girl some break, you're suffocating her!! she hasn't even jotted down her new year resolutions yet. I would go into hiding for a while if I were Song Song..
Given this a thought... If Chengzhi is like Nian Junting, Chang Lai and Lu Kang are quite the same. Always running to do errands for their bosses and casted aside once done. I really can't stand this mother & daughter. One is trying to force their daughter into a relationship without even taking her daughters feelings into account & the other is to extremely wishy washy & submissive. Why can't the fl just open her mouth & make things clear. Stop hiding your relationship!
It really bothers me that sheβs working so hard to hide her relationship with Chengzhi. I understand sheβs trying to spare her parents- esp her moms- feelings, but this is just not good all around. Then she gets mad at her mom for trying to set her up? Just tell her the truth! You have your own house you can stay at and you donβt have to see them that often if they take it badly
