I know someone who had a very effective security system. It was a sign that said, "Tresspassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again." They never had any problems with crime.
To a pro, security systems are literally nothing but a little hinderence.
P.S. Stealthy security is a lot better than one that has been already revealed.
