Well logically speaking both of them were villain.. The male lead and the villainess.. Because it was the fault of the male lead to fall for someone. And if we find the exact reason we can say again no one is wrong. Human emotions can be changed. You can't force it. Sometimes you can't love someone who is besides to you till your death but you will love someone whom you saw only for a glance in your whole life. But you can't say anything to the 3rd person unless she scheme against you. It was him who approached her first. Not her.. This is exactly what happens.
