I really appreciate Solus' train of thought: at least she isn't an idiot and knows her weak point. Sad part is that I can't see how she create relationship outside of her Ephie past or Lith.
I'm happy solus got the chance to do this and try normal life for awhile not being a 3rd wheel but truly being independent and realizing she wants more than flings but finding her partner will be hard and she has no reason to rush and is content with family life
Here is something I admire a lot about Legion's writing: He is great at telling a story or describing a situation from every characters' different perspectives rather than from the MC's alone. There is always something that we might not think about/see/feel were we not in the person's shoes.
