Theory: So I think Lith is supposed to be the Guardian of Justice. So initially I thought that he was supposed to be like Tyris, Guardian of change, but in the aspect of destruction. But the more I thought about it I realized that there would have been too much overlap with Salaark's Guardian of Rebirth role. And if I'm right it would explain why he partially failed his last tribulation. Simply put, the punishment for the baronet outweigh the crime. The baronet had nothing to do with Raaz's torture so killing him and destroying his house was just plain revenge. On that note, I think that if Lith had killed the baby then the tribulation would have been a full failure and Mogar would have killed him. As such I think that Lith owes his life to his sister. The only thing that this theory can't account for it the tribulation at the restaurant, why it started, why it failed, etc. Still trying to figure how that one fit into my Guardian of Justice theory.
Since this is a magic crafting charpter, here comes an idea. Lith should start to make his battle armour with independent pieces, a power core to each arm, a power core for each leg, a power core for the helmet and another for the body. With this he can imbue a variety of “spells” ready to be used and fueled by mana crystals. Thinking about this each finger of the gauntlet should be an independent artifact, assembled together but with it ’s one powercore each
