I’m glad that we got an official exit of kamila from the kingdoms power and the appearance of her sister to confirm that she did indeed approve of their marriage. Kamila is a smart enough woman to know what becoming a citizen of the desert means and the dangers that betraying such a arrangement would bring. It adds a layer of surety to this series of events to help put the most paranoid minds at ease. On a different note, solus is taking things better and worse than expected. She’s struggling in a bad way to cope with this newest of revelations, but so far she hasn’t done anything negative. To a certain degree she felt happy for lith which gives me hope that she will be supportive, but I really hope it doesn’t lead her into a self destructive spiral. That could be a strong story line but I don’t like the idea of how much that would disrupt the ongoing battle to protect what people can be saved from meln and thrud.
