random predictions: Thrud wins, we have seen trough out the story a theme of the kingdoms decline Thrud finally brings new developments. Lith kills orpal in a world tribulation thereby becoming a guardian (night and orpal are generally bad for progress). He cant act against Thrud because she is good for mogars development. the council makes a stand against Thrud resulting in a stalemate. They form a new country. All countries start awakening more people resulting in a new balance. Lith is responsible for the new council territory.
If he joins the war effort, it'll likely be as a member of the Council, not an officer in the army or an archmage, I get the feeling that Lith is about to reveal his Tiamat form to the royals, effectively making him beyond their control. Between that, Manohar's death, and Thrud's invasion, the kingdom is so screwed!!
PREPARING TO WAR Any thoughts? The Royals could ask Lith to replenish the spell hoarding cube with a Raging Nova! Iâm curious about Scarlet. In her eyes Sedra and the young magical beasts that Thrud enslaved are innocent children. Shouldnât her take some action to finish the enslavement? And in this same thought we have Zagran, who helped the empire to broke free from the slave collars.
