I love that, at this point, violence is the go to for so many people in comments. A large portion of us are just “Bury em, no one will EVER know.” Hahaha! Not to say it’s unwarranted, Liths world (at the very least country, but I feel world is appropriate) rarely gets jackall done without it. Like, 90% of his issues end up having to resort to it because any sort of legal system is so hard leaning into the people who try to screw him that they’re unusable for people not born from Noble families. Granted even for the Ernas that didn’t work out, but it makes me want to see the Empire way of living still. The desert theres fact and fiction, when the Overlord can read your mind, it’s simple to find fact. Those alive on the other continent (Starts with J, can’t remember) would rather kill their neighbors and starve to death themselves rather than even consider working together, and then the Kingdom is simply too corrupt. Not that the Royals aren’t trying, but after running one way for centuries, it seems too late to make the changes that are needed to survive at this point. As of this time in the story, I’m more inclined to believe the Empire is a fraud too, just based on Mogars history.
Lith's family is cool and what still makes him human, but they limit him to much, he's shackled in Lutia and the Kingdom because of his parents, let's be real what is more important, the life of your family or some fields left by your parents? For gods sake the kids were almost traumatized because of the last attack, if it wasn't because of Raaz and Elina stubbornness in living in Lutia, they could go to the Desert or the Empire and living in peace. Thanks for the chapter! Much love~
The author showing us that even if you can kill dragons that don't mean that the world will bend for you Most novels are like: "violence and godly power can solve everything" but here we have a more accurate and fun thing to read In this arc there won't be a big fight (probably) but I'm already loving it Thanks for the chapter, is really a honour to read this novel
Time to remove the Gate and invite even more Beasts to chill at the Farm. Maybe even several Dragons and Scorpicores flying in and out of town to deliver Liths goods. Seems the good citizens of Lutia forgot why there's a town there. What they gonna do if the archmage moves away and takes his gate with him. They obviously failed to think it through. I smell Thruds influence using the same tricks that worked in the Nestrar Region
