I now noticed that the king talks like a tv host like in a way, overly emphasizing at the being to build tension just so when he ends it with the unexpected it has more of an effect but it also strickes me as a bit like mapulative like yes he’s the king in hindsight but as a character it makes me like him less not saying that he’s badly written or anyth ing

I feel like the kingdom doesn't sympathize with its people. Besides why are there enemies of Lith? isn't it due to serving the kingdom why else Balkor copycat target him or did I forget something?

I never know when legion alludes to something obvious like 'my queen' being Thrud or if he's throwing us a red herring. The royal seal does make it rather obvious that it's got to do with her but legion never spells it out.

Lith sucking up to king's nonsense doesn't go well with his personality. With his achievements and future potential, giving security for his family is least they can do. No wonder they lost so many mages and even manohar and vastor have issues with them. They don't know how to take care of assets
