This is probably the stupidest decision the kingdom has made yet. the man took out 3 forbidden cities and built several teir 2 forbidden magic Delorians for the royals, he owns silver mines and several profitable patents and is building a magic train in your kingdom. your so called “protection” hasnt protected anything and when he takes the first vacation in his life you think you can pull out now? Also it doesn’t make sense since they were desperate to keep him here and they know he has other options. Also they know he is hunting the copycat so its not like he isnt doing anything. It just doesnt quite line up with their motives. Good luck with your personal situation Legion. take you’re time and if you really need to ask your fans for help. you’ve been such a good author to us and never ask for anything. many of us would be willing to help out our favorite series get back on schedule[img=update][img=recommend]
Seems like a bad time for the royals to take their hands off the kite string, especially with the claim that he hasn't done anything for the kingdom since the end of his military career. He destroyed another Lost City. He killed a Magus level threat. He improved the magical technology available in the Kingdom by inventing the Dolorean. Seems short sighted or an attempt to turn Lith's family into psycho bait, because one Balkor wasn't enough.
It makes sense that with the kingdom's resources stretched so thin and the recent massacre because of the mercenaries the royals would decide to relocate some personnel. What I wonder is if lith will decide to help the kingdom to an extent to have them continue to guard his family, ignore the issue since they have never been strong enough to deal with his enemies anyway, or visit the empire to see what they offer him in exchange for his services since he doesn't want to join the nest. There is a fourth option to create a golem army strong enough to protect his house on its own but I guess he will have to wait until he learns how to forgemaster the demon golems for it, in a sense the lack of the queen's corps bring a good news, now he can go all out in demon form without the risk of someone finding out his real nature so it might be good that they stop protecting his house.
Royals are making some very questionable decisions here. Continuing to build his uber expensive house while cutting the thing he actually cares about is even more of an insult. The worst they should be doing is asking if they can move his family to a more secure city while they consolidate their forces. Then throw out that a public (not classified) act in the public interest would help them poliTically to get the security he needs in Lutia.
Back in the middle of the break to say a theory im pretty confident in. So a lot of fans have been saying they hope Thrud wins the war. but few actually think she will for so many reasons. But what if she does! Lith leaves the kingdom because of the royals stupid ultimatum and as a result the kingdom falls. the ernas are out of the picture because of the divorce and tyris has a no interference policy. it feels like this has been set up for awhile and we would get to see the empire more and what politics would be like with a new Griffin kingdom under thruds rule. The next parts is more far fetched but thrud might even die and her son is the crown prince but jakra needs someone who can truely mentor the hybrid and our favorite tiamat ks the only one to fit the bill!
I dunno, this sounds pretty reasonable to me. With all the threats the kindoms facing they dont have the resources to guard someone whos not following the royals commands. Until now Lith just assumed that it would continue, but im sure any Mage that no longer concerns themselves with the kindoms problems gets the same treatment during times of crisis.
