Obligatory feels bad Jurni, the divorce is no surprise in spite of her good intentions. Its odd though seeing how well people seem to be taking events aside from Jurnis manipulations. I hope that they spend more talking about how things played out and getting into the details, that would make this resolution feel a bit more substantial. On a slightly different note, I hope these events dont turn into a Jurni redemption arc as she tries to reunite with her family. I suspect, knowing said family, they wont forgive her completely until the bitter end which would probably equate to jurni really dying which would really suck.
I'm not to surprised about orion divorcing jirni, what she did was wellllllll over the line. making him think his daughter was dead making him go to her funeral and listen to derius going off about his recently dead daughter all the while his wife knew she was alive. and since orion has always been super kind hearted he'd also be empathetic to the fact that lith morok and all her friends had to go through that same pain. of course he'd divorce her.
...Really do need to be utter an saint to stick with people like that for so long... seeing what just happened she is going to need a god-like sincere apology that would move even the gods to have some hope of getting back together and as for Lith... your trying to avoid becoming like her remember!?!?
In my opinion, Orion should have been expecting such craziness coming from his wife. I mean she's always embraced that dark side: why is he even surprised? I'd prefer 2 weeks of grieving over true death. Jirni got us all... but I don't feel like a divorce is a solution. None of her actions went against her family, and being a powerless mortal, she used everything she could to get everyone to safety. I bet that in her place, other women would just powerlessly wach everything later, and then grief, or at most provide emotional support. Her only error is not trusting her family at all: they should solve it with a talk, its not like she's completely senseless akin to Mr manohar.
so glad the ernas girls are all still alive and I can understand why Orion wants a divorce and jirni has to understand while she did everything with the best intentions for her family it still hurt them in horrible ways but it was the only way jirni could get peace so hopefully the sacrifice was worth it to her
I get that what Jirni did was messes up. BUT I also think that Orion (and the others) should not make rash life decisions when drunk on emotion. What she has achived deserves a medal and then some not a divorce. I get that all of the involved need some space for processing but to me, Lith and Jirni the ends totally justified these means. I know a lot of people will disagree with me on that and that's fine. :)
