Got to admit these rewards kinda suck. it was a friggen lost city and they are barely getting the pay for a small mission. what sucks is most of these rewards are requests to tie them to the Kingdom yet again! Like you already lost them stop trying to pull them back in with pathetic titles that act as chains. Makes me think about when lith was deciding wether to join the beasts or the royal forgemasters and i realize that the beast council is just so much better

Risk to reward here is pretty small, take down a city fueled by forbiden magic, risking your life. Rewards some adamate thats not even all that rare in the awakened community. Probably wouldnt be looking for lost cities to free.

honestly I am really disappointed in the royals a mansion and metal is the reward for ground breaking advancements in forgmastery and destroying legendary relics. like actually what. also lith was only staying here because of the political immunity mirrim granted him which the king just decided that he didn't care about so he could prove lith was an awakened. he then tried to reinstate Phil as a reward even though it was their fault everything went wrong and she got fired AND THEN REFUSED TO APOLOGIZE FOR IT. thE light bringer put it best "go bend over a fence"

I know lith is not part of the kingdom's forces for most of his time but I honestly hoped that for bringing down another lost city and crafting something out of their known magical boundaries with just silver and purple crystals they would give him more. If he stayed in jiera he might have obtained the same amount of metal he got during his time in the army in a couple of weeks, probably more just by doing missions, he got davross (in small amounts) in the same way and he could get in a week of work with origin flames more money than the kingdom ever payed him. I hope this works as an eye opener for him and he starts to work to get materials from the beasts (or by creating something to improve the desert's life standard for grandma) since he is greatly underpayed and i want him with an adamant, tiamat-sized armor with white crystals soon.

Boy no wonder no ones trying to fix these cities the rewards are... soberingly insignificant

The rewards seem a bit too small for what they achieved but that's royalty for you. Hopefully in the next arc Lith goes to Grandma and learns a few things regarding forging.

I wonder when the king will figure out most of Lith's group is awakened 😂

the ties to the kingdom keep getting less and less with all of the group turning down titles and positions
