Legion20
Why is Lith so obsessed with pushing himsef so much lately? Its not like theres much of a time limit on the violet core situation. Especially when it seems obvious there going to be a ambush of some kind around the corner. he never went to hard with practise before. Is it just a plot point to deliberately weaken him for the next fight?
maybe not so much a plot point to weaken him (which could still be a possibility) but that he now has time for it? back at the academy was one thing after another between classes, tests, nalear, balkor etc then he became a ranger, while he could do the job fairly quickly he still had responsibilities to it. After he quit the army, now he is under faluel specifically to train. So maybe it's a thing that has always been there but pushed to the backburner cuz of the situations at the time?
Fun chapter. Yea, maybe a lot didnt happen, but not every chapter needs to a life or death battle or becoming even more powerful all at once. One of the reasons I love this novel is the overall pacing. And honestly, with the name of the day, Night/Orpal, and everything else, I enjoy waiting for the other shoe to drop, its like the entire chapter is just tense cause you EXPECT something to happen, Id almost be more surprised if it didnt.
am i the only one thinking this situation is really bad? i don't know if orphal broke out of prison but it's likely, if so will he target someone? will it be kamila? some of the kids/raaz in the crowd? maybe the mothers alone without a mage among them? jirni and vastor will be fine, but i wonder the others, i'm really anxsious. also, are we for real? the blackest day is the day the dead comes to life and so on? it's basically the perfect day for lith to rampage, i'm really hyped.
