I dont mind him teaching them as long as its nit true magic and on the issue of glaring you are right it takes effort the same amount of effort it takes to smile. What is actually easier and effortless is not smiling and keeping a blank face, maybe thats What hes doing I know because it happened to me so now I try to at least smile whenever am having a conversation

I love the character development but I do kind of hope he becomes genuine friends with these three instead of bringing them down to his level of misanthropic cynicism. I don’t care if it happens but I’d like to see him evolve from that cynic we began reading about.

Thank the lord hes changing, although a cold an cynical personality is good at times it can be quite over bearing and downright stupid at times. Id rather him change and become a person that can except strangers. Though i would still like for him to keep his loved ones incredibly close and be brutal to those that wronged him. Learn to gove people a chance but once they break that chance or trust then its over.

Really disappointed with the mc now. Cannot control himself, is starting to get lonely all of a sudden, proposes to teach those three and last but not least mentions trust. Trust, really? What is your number one rule in life? Do you need reminding?
