How can Lin Chu not understand that if she visits his family, irrespective of how innocent she thinks her visit is, it would be reason to fuel rumors about her being unable to let go of her ex and still trying to curry favors with his parents? I get that his mother has been 'kind' to her and whatnot, but I doubt that a kind mother would not think about how guilt tripping Lin Chu would make her look to others. Especially a mother who won't even stand up for herself. She needs to make a clean break.
