I am glad Xueyue got a chance to confront and get an apology from emperor Li but this all goes to proof that Duke LTJ could have tried harder if he truly put his daughter's wellbeing before his own fame and reputation. The person that threatened him did not even know the identity and location of his daughter, which he could have realized if he had not pulled away at first sign of being threatened. With emperor Li not knowing who or where Xueyue was, with resources duke LTJ possessed, I believed he could have taken her out of the Bai family to a safe place if he truly put in an effort.

Li family is love 💕💕💕 will surely miss them, for sure next chapters would be more on hanjian. 400-500 chapters is good length for a novel :)) it won’t be too repetitive and boring like other novels that go beyond 1k chapters or so. keep up author and thank you 💕
