He is starting to remind me of the Zheng guy from author's other book who was a complete asshole. It is extremely concerning that he can act like this when he loses his temper. It is a common theme of abusive relationships to lash out when angry, apologize and blame it on the temper, says he/she will not repeat it again until the next moment he/she loses their temper and blames it on the victim/his temper again.
