Now before I leave this book forever to read it again I have a spoiler. You guys see how she bickers and gets angry at the commander so easily because he doesn't know how to love. Well, although this is true he is always gentle to her and tries to understand her, he really does but this new guy he tells her she's being a hypocrite, that she's being unreasonable and everything that is true about her. Personally I'm starting to not like her much but the commander doesn't say any of these things because he's really trying to understand her but this guy comes and tell her all these things but she never really gets angry at him she grumbles but that ain't anger. Now I could have let this slide because we still don't know who the male lead is but guess what i just found out her family is gonna massacre and overthrow the royal family, I dont have any sentiments towards them but they're the people that raised the commander after he was discarded by his biological family. Sure kill the empress and emperor but the crown princess was so nice. The worst part is that even tho he knew she killed his family he still hoped she would look at him. That's so sad. So sad infact that I'm crying as I write this, this is hands down one of the worst characters I've encountered and that's why I'm dropping this book. No disrespect to the author everyone has their own writing styles and what they like to write, personally I've read tycoon's daring wife and this book and I can't seem to start or get to like your writing style at all. I'm just one person and other people's viewpoints might not be the same as mine but I just wanted to write what I thought out.

Dear author, it was nice to wake up to a double updates but this torture and cliffhangers you call updates only leave me anxious and will affect my peace for the entire day... Now am wondering who this new guy is and how he came to be interested in Xueyue... Arrgg.. am confused 🤔😍
