we know how it goes ,the arc eventually ends, where Michael has to leave the backyard world to go higher world once he reaches apex! so it's impossible to be serious in relationships, rather she will die in future war, to make plot interesting !.MC can last companion when fighting abomination generals not Grimm monsters foot soldiers ,as a reader I want plot to. move forward not wasting time in romance, which doesn't make sense when is plot now!

Very good chapters. i find that these chapters bring more of the story of michael than reading about the battles scenes. Everyone like fighting it just feels like michael is only passionate about fighting against humans not monsters. just saying

MC clearly knows hidden being and Ashlyn are powerful being ,yet how long it will take him to realize eventually they have to leave ! That's what makes MC dumb , if he realises ,he will not be interested in romances ! his goal will be higher ! his goals will not look like rest of others fight and die in the battlefield or become part of supreme organisations !
