im so confused... how is our main character going to be someone grand? or is he just supposed to be a mediocre character who just works extremely hard but always achieves mediocracy? or is plot armor going to show up and somehow turn his terrible talent that is slightly better than his parents into better than everyone else?

Then it is going to be suck... at least make mc have some power and not just pure hardwork... people lost interest if you want to keep mc crawling his way to the top everytime.

The writing or English starts to get better at chapter 18. So, just hold on a bit. Then at chapter 33 or 34 he has started to has for help finding and editor. Then at about chapter 36 the editor starts editing and it is much better.

Didn’t they say in an earlier chapter that the bird has a high talent or something and they found out when it leveled up so quickly after birth? Why are they switching it up just to make things difficult if everything is already on extreme difficulty? Give MC a break I mean come on!!!

The novel is good in the fact its purely relaying on the effort of the MC but at the same time its taking it to the extreme as well, low beast, low talent, low status, extreme in either side is not good since we can see both a lot.

99% of the comment is talking about the mcs trash decision but maybe that’s why someone with his mentality becomes the strongest over what everyone thinks

I just realized why he was not #1 in the class as he had been. He took 3 months studying how to build the engine, otherwise he would have been top of the class. But the fact that with all of that he was still in 2nd or 3rd place can only be due to his intelligence and hard work.

If low talent can be considered high talent with high mana purity Then how about people with high talent? Will they be considered god tier talent? Also talent talent talent. The actual meaning of talent is something one is good at in the initial stages of soft and hard skills. Also the purpose of machine is to automate things. Why did the creator of that mana machine doesn't automate it? Is it because theres not enough mold? Mana space cant hold more mold?

Thanks for keeping this realistic. Lots of people see how someone is great and simply accept that they were born that way but is unaware of all the struggle needed to get there so as they say " HARD WORK BEATS TALENT IF TALENT DOESN'T WORK HARD".

That's the problem. No one knows. Would you choose a low strain over a high strain as your first if you thought it is a trash bird. The author also stated how important the first is yet he still choose this one. It makes no sense. Obviously plot armour is gonna help him later. But it makes no sense. Even this manual method is risky. But even if he succeeds the rewards a low. So again what is the point?
