To be fair, if someone did so many horrendous things to me I'd be outwardly hateful towards them so I partly understand the aunt. But I also wouldn't make someone else who hasn't done anything suffer because of another, especially not a child. On that part i cannot help but see the aunt in the wrong.

I think the author is very good at making us question our hatred towards certain characters

Knowing the true nature of Penny's mother... a jealous witch. I am considering that her mom will have an ill intention towards Penny. Especially right now Penny is a WW and she has a protector like Damien which is a PBV. I wouldn't be surprised if her mom will eventually do something even crazier than killing her. She might act like Penny..Steal her daughter's identity. But of course, our Damien will be aware of that..Its just my thinking.... but it's possible. 😒

I don't understand why her family adopted her if they don't have enough money to feed themselves as it is🙄

There's always a reason behind everyone's behavior or attitude. Just like Ester's or her aunt's. They always have a choice to do what is right but they still ended up doing the other way. We cannot blame them, I guess. But we can blame them for the hurt/damages they caused to the other people (sigh).

I feel Penny mom took care of Penny to use her powers as in Penny memories we could see her asking her husband about Penny powers . So after waiting for many years she must have felt it's not worth it so she faked death and made Penny go through such experiences. Plus Voodoo must be to harm Penny as you could never trust a black witch... they don't have compassion..

Ester found pleasure in killing , penny's mom killed the good boy😵😵 Both the women feel so much alike....please Don't Ester be penny's mom...because she won't be dead anytime soon ...if she is penny's mother then she is going to cause trouble and she is not going to leave her alone 😣😣
