I found the pacing quite nice. Their interactions gives you an idea of their personality and character which makes this whole thing amazing. I had to reread BAD to get a sense of when Grace takes Penny out and it was months after the Carmichaels' corrupting. The eye colour fluctuating reminded me of Vivi then I remembered how Damien was there when Alex got married so he couldn't have possibly died. Now, the theory of Dami being a halfling. I find the theory cool but I'm not so sure since Damien's parents are vampires, or at least the dad not so sure on the whether his mother had any connections with witches. Nice to know that Damien made Penny do all those things for a reason and not just be a total a**hole.😂 Though Penny might saw otherwise. Now I'm really curious about Penny's background. Is whatever trait she has frpm her mum's side of the family or her dad's side. Thank tou for the constant updates, Ash!😙😙
