I like this chapter. Getting to know Damien's family is something to relate in real life. Sometimes parents don't really understand what their children who grown up what they wanted personally and the choices they make precisely. I do think Damien rejecting the proposal is a right thing for him because he has his own world he wanted his life how it should be. Good job, Damien, proud of you, man. ❤ I don't reaaallyy mind if this novel went too slow or too fast. It really depends on the readers how they read this novel but what matters is is that enjoying the story between Damien and Penelope with such conflicts. I doooo noooot care how long this be, as long this story 💯 is beautifully written just like the rest of author's novels. This novel and the rest of the series deserves to be in a top #1 rank because other novels here in webnovel aren't the same and such giving a different reads but different feels. However, YMDP is the one giving readers' a whole new level of emotions (such sayin). This LDG world is something I would love to live in and never return in real life because rl freakin sucks and deal students loans LMAO (if you know what I mean).😜 Take your time, author-san, you worked so hard and we'll love the couple until the end. Author I agree with you . It's the slow burn part that is more enjoyable rather than that BAM of feelings ( where u slept n bam felt in love or love at first sight which I always find unrealistic)... With slow development you get to know more about the characters . BAD childhood chapters that were later added were *lovely* .❤💗 Rather I feel Damien n Penny needs more slow burn now then romance ... In VL it was less compared to other books so Alex feelings and he himself always remain mysterious...

i love surprises and plot twist dear author keep do what you do because you know what you're doing and what the best for us reader . your writing skills are too good to be true im a fan since VE and i already get used with your flow you dont like rushing things like those clíche typical novel which fight, make up, and tada happily ever after no offence though 😂 but your style is to take one step at a time, build the storyline perfectly, the climax, dramas, and then we have it THE ROMANCE 🤣❤️ i have a rough day today (maybe dear author and maybe some dear reader friends here too) but after your book show up on my notifications IM FEELING ECSTATIC then im drowning in YMDP's world and feel much better with these two antics 😍🤣 love u, author ash ❤️✨
I love how the story is developing. What you said is extremely true, if we rush something it will not be as good, infact a rushed thing might break as easily and soon as it formed. The pain, small gestures, shared feelings and so on through which a relationship is developed will bind them together tightly and firmly so that it would never break or shatter easily, be it in real life or in an unrealistic world such as this story.
I like the slow burn and honestly it is how you want your story to go in, a more natural type of feel. You’re my breath of fresh air when it comes to reading books here. You’re stories are not clique and they make us the readers see perspectives of the characters and see their character development I say keep up with what you’re doing :)
