Well Auntie Chai wasn't wrong about her family but this isn't Lu Man's fault is it!?!? She should have considered the surroundings before speaking!!!! Moreover how the hell it's Lu Man's fault that she heard everything!?!? Of course it would be awkward though it was out of a mother's love towards her son but why be two faced!?!?

I can understand a mother’s concern, but there’s a point when it’s no longer concern. It becomes judgmental, and gossip, that’s exactly what happened. LM did say she liked to gossip in pervious chapters, so I’m not that surprised.

I gave her the benefit of the doubt because of the comeents from other readers. I did change my mind after reading the first part of this chapter, but when she started judging Lu Man because 2 males visited the hospital like that, it just makes her almost as narrow minded as her stepfamily. She said she knows/understands who LM is more than her son because she's known her longer. Then she should realize that she isn't a fox at all. She's been justifying herself throughout her own thoughts. A tit for tat.

So embarrassing. Although what she said is a reality, but not everyone thinking like her. Maybe aunt chai love her son too much. Now it's akward.

Honestly, in the Asian community it is like this. Some people will help you from the side or behind the scenes, bc they can sleep peaceful at night knowing it's not their problem, but yours. People like that aunty are people who do not know how to hold their tongue and will blame others even for their own mouth and words. I know she's just human. But there are things that should be said at home and not in public if you're just gonna criticis someone for the way life is treating them.
