Dude, wth, this is THE most heart wrenching chapter.

This is quite confusing, but does that mean Dojka's life isn't his life either, but all a dream and also that the later events of the novel were dreamt by child Dojka. Also though a mind blowing thought Dojka was 28 years old and he had been reading the story since middle school, but the thing is ways of survival should have started when he was 18 a few years after middle school cause it took 10 years to complete. If so this might have been a precursor foreshadowing since the start that Dojka wasn't the real one. After all the characters age does not match up with the background we were given.
