So, in a "light novel", we are getting a run through of psychology, of philosophy, of humanity, and now, of mythological history. I have not read or recalled about the Hecatoncheires of the Hundred Hands and Eyes for a long long time. This novel is a wonderful refresher course into the depths of ancient mythological deities and stories (pun intended). Beautiful.
The world this story is in is built on myths, legends, folktales, epics...etc. We have stories like Papyrus and Vedas which are based on religious belief, we have stories like Norse and Greek mythology which are based on folklore and fantasy, we have stories like the "indescribable distance" which is based on humanity's definition of the universe. So it got me thinking, what about beings such as the Reaper? The Reaper is described as a skeleton wearing a black cloak wielding a humongous scythe which he uses to "reap" the souls of all living beings, and he is a figure which symbolizes Death in all the forms it comes in. If this world is based on stories, will we getting to see depictions of figures meant to symbolize a word or belief?
Why my heart is aching so much for the Titans? It's really like another wave of Regression Depression hitting us with the feels, but this time is only pain without hope. Still, do not fear anymore! The Demon King of Salvation is here to bring a new light of redemption! Let us bathe in glory this time! Fight! Fight! Fight!!!
Interesting! It's like the giants are tired of being read the same story everytime, with the same ending. It's been told so many times over that they feel it won't change anything, so instead of listening they just chose to shut their eyes. I wonder if Kim Dokja will unlock a "writer's" sense and change their story too as he did YJ's.
Kim Namwoon is an attention seeker right from the beginning. Being a chuuni comes with the territory. You control him by slowly giving him attention. Just little bits so you keep him wanting more. Dokja still doesn’t like him though so he might still stay in the Underworld after this scenario. Who knows maybe he’ll be a constellation too when Hades rules the Olympus nebula.
