I feel sorry for the protoganist it's understandable why his personality is so harsh. Having to live lifetimes of repeated tragedies and trying your hardest to save loved ones only to wake up at the beginning is pretty hard. It's admirable how he keeps going on despite all that. So I think we should cut the protoganist some slack.
