I'll say this, "Protagonist" doesn't mean good. It means the character that is the focus of the story. The antagonist is the one who opposes the protagonist. The protagonist can be a mass murderer and the antagonists can be saints, those are terms that are merely defining the position/role of the characters in the story.

Honestly when I came back to re-read the whole story from the start, my heart almost stopped every single time I saw the last part of this chapter. Omg my dear ‘real’ protagonist...you really seemed like one last boss here...
