I wonder how he changed his eye color Or why this Grandpa would choose a knight he knows nothing about to care for a girl he treats so well Unless he got rid of the knight the grandpa trusted to infiltrate the palace without alarming the general. Guess we'll find out sooner or later. Also, why does no one berate this "Knight" for overstepping his bounds? Kissing a woman's hand (much less a princess) isn't something that's super casual.
