I like the Samantha now, but I can also see how changing it into the original Samantha instead could make the emotions feel more real. Its like our Sam now is just a viewer throughout all these situations so its not as intense coz the memories arent hers originally but the real Sam going through the same would remember all the pains and heartbreak she experienced and you can probably do a lot more and develop her character a lot more that way. Either way I like your story tho so as long as you feel like you need to change things, then do it 😊
