The author said this book recently came to her mind. So it’s possible that we may not exactly know how the plots link. Isabelle talks about knowing she won’t be there for long, so it’s possible her soul goes to rest with or without Alexander’s knowledge, however this doesn’t really affect valerian empire. She will still “die”. I’m more interested in seeing how she will aid Vivian and Leo and what exactly is hidden in the documents she’s looking for. A clue that gives Alexander the list of witches in valerian empire? 🤔

I dont think she will meet his son...as Alexander does not know about his mother in valerian empire and this book is about the things that happened before the story of alex....mean to say this book is older than the other 2

Poor Alexander. I read the Valerian Empire and he really loved his mom! The blue roses he protected proves that. Good story I recomend everyone read it.
