*Byleth POV*

I stared as the Patriarch died in front of me. I finally had my revenge but I don't feel any different. Where is the joy and happiness? I thought I would have felt something watching the man who killed my parents die in front of me. Is this how revenge is supposed to feel like? Huh, how unfulfilling.

I looked down at the battle and watched as my sister was leading the battle against the enemy. She was adapting quickly to this small scale battle and was quite strong. None of her opponents could pierce her armor which resulted in everyone trying to avoid fighting her. This was unsuccessful for if they wouldn't come to her then she came to them. I didn't see Nathaniel but I knew he was around here somewhere.

I watched the family be mowed down like grass to a lawn mower. I trained these mercenaries myself after I hired them. I didn't want some weak basic soldiers who couldn't do a thing. It seems I made the right decision. Slowly the branch family was forced to retreat back inside the mansion. Right where I wanted them.

Before killing the Patriarch I had snuck into the building during all the fighting and poured gasoline everywhere I could. Things were about to get really hot real fast.

I dug my hand into my pocket and took out a lighter. I flicked it on and watched the flame flicker for a few moments before throwing the lighter into the hallway leading to the balcony. After making sure the fire had gotten lit I jumped over the balcony. I climbed down the side of the building before jumping down and hitting the ground.

Within a few minutes the whole house was in flames. People screamed inside while some barreled out windows or doors only to meet their end by our blades. A few hours later the fire was put out and the family had been totally eradicated.

It was too easy. The enemy was too weak and they weren't smart enough to plan for an immediate attack. This was the world of the outer tower. The inner tower would be an entirely different story.

Speaking of which when I head to the inner area I will lose everything. My company, my mercenaries, my sister, they will all stay here. I wonder when I will be chosen to enter the tower. It's only a matter of time before I go after all. There's no way I would be asked by the administrator to take care of Jahad then I was never taken to the inner tower.

I stared at the wreckage of the mansion and while I was pondering things. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I looked back to see my sister.

"Is everything over?" She asked.

"Yes, this time mom and dad can rest in peace, they have been avenged." I smiled.

She was silent for a moment then tears formed in her eyes. She started to cry as a smile came across her face.

"I'm glad."

I came close and gave her a hug. I also gave her head pats. That always works as a calming tool.

"Me too."

A minute passed as she calmed down. After she calmed down we sperated. She lifted up her hand and wiped the tears away from her eyes.

"What are we going to do now?" Elana asked.

"Well whatever we want I guess. However I do have one goal. I plan to get chosen to enter the inner area of the tower." I replied.

"The inner tower? What kind of place is it? I heave only heard stories of legendary fighters and about the ten families." She asked her face filled with curiosity.

"It's a place where the strong rule. Nearly every person there can use shinsu in some shape or form. People who can destroy entire cities by themselves exist and powers beyond your imagination lie there. It's said that you can find anything you want at the top of the tower."

"Woah, did you say anything you want?" An excited look came across her face.

"Yeah, why?"

"I can finally get an unlimited supply of cookies! None shall stand in my way!" She shouted.

I laughed while replying. "Sure if that's what you want. What kind of cookie though?"

Her face turned serious. "Now this is a topic that will require a great debate over countless nights."

I laughed again and she stared at me angerly.

"I'm being serious you know."

"Yeah I know, but I just can't help laughing." I said.

We bantered back and forth for a few minutes when out of no where I started glowing.

I snorted. "Speak fo the devil, looks like I am heading to the inner tower right now!"

"Ehhh? Wait, where are you going? You can't leave yet!" She yelled at me.

"Don't worry, I'm sure after a couple years you'll be chosen too and will follow me up the tower."

"Fine, but when I catch up you better be ready to face the consequences of leaving out of no where like this."

"If you catch up. Anyways seems it's time for me to go. See you!"

My Body dissolved into a golden light and then that golden light faded away.

"Make sure you are still alive when I get there." Elana whispered.
