Honestly the scope of the story has always been massive, could've easily gone on for 4 or 5 thousand chapters without rushing the pace. Very wise choice, taking time to go through everything again and not being overambitious. Looking forward to the prequel!

I personally don't mind you taking your time on this book, as you said the plot is extremely expansive and no matter which direction my mind travels when I read this book its always great. I'd rather a weekly chapter type-deal over not being able to continue reading this great story. your idea for another novel on Su Yang's past life is a great idea, It would be awesome to see his beginning as a sword master then dual cultivator. I've also always wanted to read how him and tang lingxie met. Thanks for all your hard work Little brother, you got tons of us that love every word of it!

Even though I am not a writer I know how hard it is to plot a story. So no matter how slow the updates of the chapter in this book I will still be waiting for this book to be completed.

This is one of the best written stories that I have read here. So in my opinion you have been doing a great job. Thought I as everyone else would have liked to see more chapters more often,but it's great to hear that you trying to get back to the roots and hopefully well enjoy some great stories in a future. Looking forward reading the prequel

I would really enjoy a prequel, particularly seeing what, if any reasons he had for never allowing children. I've always thought it was due to his first wife, but it could also have been due to his upbringing! TY for the update!

I'm totally down to see where this takes us. I have really enjoyed the story so far even if you say its just been you going with the flow and have been a bit bummed from not seeing many chaps. I believe it has a lot of potential and would love to see where it goes all the way to the end. I'll read any prequel to this that you put out, and am looking forward to it. Amazing idea author it would even keep interesting enough for you to change the settings for the usual although a bit of a challenge for you it is the best solution.

I really love the novel even though you said it was rushed I don't see any inconsistency in the novel. I have reread this about 20-30 times but I always like the content and the plot. what makes it interesting is su yang's mysterious past life which you add in between the chapters but if you make a prequel I don't think his past life will remain mysterious and entertaining certainly you can just add them in the form of reminiscence or you can just introduce us to his past life's parteners and their story during their meeting in the novel. I think I would really love that. you can also speed up the story as what I am really waiting is for him to become overpowered and meet his fiance within 9 or so years.
