Previously he was always making excuses to people about mc living in the lab so he didn't really know about social relationships and how to treat people and behave beta. now the author makes mc like a wise man who is 100 years old and throws words of wisdom to children his age.

Why TF does he keep spending OP? He can only spend 100,000 total before he fails his quest, one that has fairly serious penalties... I hate when authors do this. If there was need, ok, but there isn't. Half the stuff he's spent OP on (armor, weapons) he could have bought with cash. There is no frickin need to use up his spending limit unless it is something that can't be gotten (or a reasonable alternative) elsewhere. While the staff here makes a great example, it wasn't %100 necessary, he had already mostly convinced Welf without using up an extra %2 of his total spending limit. I mean, I realize he's a kid and forgetful, but considering the penalties include losing all of his stuff I would think that he would remember that and check it once in a while....

I personally think that Vahn should have just said that weapons were tools and that it depends on the one using them weather they are good or bad. Bad people can still use defensive and support weapons.
