i went to natural hot spring before, where you need to hike to go and fro, it's good when soaking, but very tiring in the journey, since the volcano is too close to make an inn there.
I have bad luck with hotsprings. Been to Japan and wanted to go to hotsprings there but it was not "convenient" time for me
