Comments of chapter undefined of Sovereign of the Karmic System

Shouldn't Daniel be gaining lots of Karma from this? He's personally interfered with Der and Roleys search, creating Karma between them, Der just killed an Aspect of Existence, something considered impossible, and lastly that Mortal had the Will to refuse it for his own path. Maybe I've read to many cultivation novels with Karmic ties in it, but that seems like a power boost for the MC waiting to happen.
